Rosemary

Rosemary is a fragrant evergreen herb native to the Mediterranean region. Some potential benefits of rosemary include:

Antioxidant-rich: Rosemary contains powerful antioxidants, such as rosmarinic acid, carnosic acid, and caffeic acid, which can help protect cells from oxidative damage caused by free radicals.

Cognitive Support: Rosemary has been traditionally used to improve memory, concentration, and cognitive function. It contains compounds that may help increase blood flow to the brain, enhance neurotransmitter activity, and protect brain cells from damage. Rosemary tea may help support mental clarity and focus.

Digestive Health: Rosemary has carminative properties that can help soothe digestive discomfort and promote healthy digestion. It may help relieve symptoms of indigestion, bloating, gas, and stomach cramps by relaxing the muscles of the digestive tract and reducing inflammation.

Anti-inflammatory: Rosemary contains anti-inflammatory compounds, such as rosmarinic acid and flavonoids, that help reduce inflammation throughout the body. It may help alleviate symptoms of inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, asthma, and inflammatory bowel diseases.

Directions: add one teaspoon of rosemary to hot water. Steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain and enjoy.
